About Us

In 1972 Bertocchi Smallgoods was established in the northern suburbs of Melbourne on 12 acres of land.

Modesto Bertocchi was the founder and the creator who, at the time, had the vision and foresight to start in an industry that was evolving high quality products as a result of the ever-increasing demand for European delicacies.

In 1948 Modesto migrated to Australia with just one suitcase and a total belief that he was leaving Genoa to start a successful new life.

Little did he imagine at the time what would result from his vision, passion and commitment.

Through persistent dedication, commitment and passion, the Bertocchi Family developed an enterprise that has today become one of Australia's leading Smallgoods manufacturers.

Their passion has driven them to develop an extensive range of high quality products that offer great value for money.

Today Bertocchi Smallgoods distributes their product range nationally to all supermarkets, good delicatessens, butcher shops and a host of food service establishments.
